Tuesday @ Two Demos Return In June

Visitors to the gallery will have more opportunities to see free art demos each Tuesday at 2 p.m. in June. Call to reserve a spot as seating is limited.
  • June 6:
  • Rae Campbell will demonstration fused glass techniques.
    • "As an artist, I get a lot of enjoyment when I am creating my art, and also when I am able to share with others this experience and see the joy on their faces when they either purchase a piece or create a piece of art they love."

  • June 13
  • Carli Schultz will demonstrate electroforming.
    • "By working in a medium so old, and a discipline so ancient, I reach to the future with one hand, while standing in the footsteps of so many glass artists behind me, stretching back into time for thousands of years."

    • George has been a regular participant in our guest shows since we first started offering them. He holds a BFA in Painting from Kansas City Art Institute; we are grateful to him for his offer to conduct a demo here at the gallery.

  • June 27
  • Donna Sanson will share basic watercolor techniques.
    •  "I strive for compositions with strong light and dark contrast, a sense of space and time,  and a color palette that suits the subject and seduces the viewer."
