Cultural Art & Tasting Walk in Beaverton

I hope you'll join us on Saturday, October 14, from 2 to 6 p.m. for Beaverton's first ever Art Walk. The event is sponsored by the Beaverton Arts Commission and the Beaverton Downtown Association, and includes a display of works by 16 local artists on our Guest Wall and their mini galleries temporarily located in 12 downtown businesses.

Ruby Vineyard will be on hand at Art On Broadway during the event and will offer free tastings of several of their wines. First planted in 1973, Ruby Vineyard has some of the oldest vines planted in the rich Laurelwood soil. Ruby continues to be one of the hidden gems in the Willamette Valley, offering some of the finest Pinot Noir in the region.

You can pick up a Passport for the event at any of the participating businesses* - visit all twelve and qualify to win one of a number of prizes donated by the business owners and sponsors. Total value of prizes is over $800.

A sample of the work on display on our Guest Wall - "Writing On The Wall," by Scott Cutler (located at Natural Grocers); "We're All In This Together," by Barb Sedgwick (located at Clockwork Rose Tea Emporium); and "Lady In Red," by Rebecca Benoit (located at Ichabod's). Look for more work by these artists and others during the event.
